CONDOLENCE
With profound grief and sorrow, it is informed to all that Mr.G.S.Parmar (JCT’s Legendry & International Footballer) has expired last evening. He was suffering from Cancer and was under treatment at Fortis, Mohali.
During the tenure of his football Career he has played for JCT for 18 years, represented Punjab State in Santosh Trophy for 15 Times, represented Indian National Team from 1978 to 1982 (Captained Indian National Team in the years 1979 & 1982) and having played in Pre-Olympic competition in the year 1980 at Singapore. He has also played for JCT in International Assignments such as Queens Cup at Bangkok and other foreign outfits from South Africa, Bangkok, Thailand. Mr.Parmar was conferred with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Award by Punjab Government in the year 1984.
His cremation will take place at Cremation Ground, Near Karan Vikram Palace (& Nr.Petrol Pump), Dasuya – Tanda Road, Hoshiarpur, at 12.00 Noon.
