The General Council of Punjab Football Association has unanimously reelected Mr.Samir Thapar as President of Punjab Football Associaton for the new term of four years commencing 2014-2015. Whereas, Mr.Deepak Kumar, former International Footballer has also been unanimously elected as Honorary Secretary of the association. Beside this the General Council has empowered Mr.Samir Thapar to nominate other Office Bearers, Executive Members and to constitutute various Sub-committees in accordance with PFA's constitutution. Mr.Tara Singh, Arjuna Awardee has attended this meeting as an observer from Punjab Olympic Association.
