After a grand opening of 28th JCT Punjab State Super Football League, every team in Super League have desire to earn full points from all their first round ties. Both of ties of the day, RCF-UPFC and Dalbir FA - CRPF held at RCF Stadium, Kapurthala and Football Ground, Khera (Mahilpur) respectively ended in draw. UPFC took lead in 16th minute when experienced striker parveen netted first goal of the match, whereas equlizer came in 47th minute from RCF's Gulshan Kumar. The other match saw couple of scoring changes from Dalbir FA and CRPF but poor fishes upfront let them down and both the teams had to content with one point each.
