 First goal of the game came in 12^th minute as a result of poor header clearance from JCT’s Arshdeep and alert Harinder Singh shot home first goal of the match.  After this early set-back, JCT combined well and made certain brilliant moves, but poor finishing upfront let them down 1-0 till end of first half.  On the other hand, Harjinder Singh tried to create some effective moves for Punjab Police forward line, which duo Jaswinder and Pawandeep could not avail appropriately to confirm their lead

Jaswinder Singh Jsy-30 scored 2^nd goal of the match in 47^TH minute, when he took pass from Pawandeep Singh and dribbled past two defenders of JCT and netted a well measured shot to confirm their lead over young brigade of JCT.  At the changing ends,  JCT took control of the game and started initiating brilliant moves through Ranjit Singh, Jatinder Singh and Rajbir Singh.   78^th min saw Jatinder’s long range shot misses narrowly the target.  Another back bolly from L.Robert on neat pass from Jot Masih has been pushed away by PP Skipper Paramjit Singh.  Jagdeep Singh scored 3^rd goal of the match for Punjab Police in 82^nd minute to seal the match for Punjab Corp. 85^th min saw L.Robert accurate shot on PP den has been well saved by PP Skipper Paramjit Singh.   JCT’s Baljit Singh Jsy No.2 has received 2^nd caution of the league and he misses Round-III match against United Punjab FC scheduled to be held at Bilga (District Jalandhar)on 2^nd September, 2014.
