As per PFA’s development plans, Round-III match between UPFC and JCT Football Academy was arranged at a Neutral Venue: Bilga (District Jalandhar) and both teams have equal advantage as the ground conditions is fine here having pleasant atmosphere and climate pouring small amount of water after a gap of time. 31st minute saw JCT surge ahead with a brilliant individual effort from Manvir Singh Jsy No.28 who produced home opener goal of the game. The entire first half game was dominated by JCT young brigade and both teams went for interval with score line 1-0 in favour of JCT.
UPFC which is having some profession stuff Parveen and Harvinder having suffered early set-back has entered the field with great zeal and tried their maximum and initiated some brilliant moves and started raiding the danger zone of JCT. Jaspreet Jsy No.13 supplied well measured pass on which Parveen Jsy No.10 took shot on JCT den, but JCT’s keeper came up with brilliant save of the day. Jaspreet’s poor header could not find net and ball went far away causing no danger to JCT den. Rohit Kumar supplied a well measured pass to his team mate Jaspreet who missed an open goal scoring opportunity when he shot. Gagandeep JCT was the guilty party for having received double caution of the match first pushing from behind UPFC player in 61st min and another unsporting behaviour and arguing with match referee in 68th thus match referee has ordered him to march past the field of play. 66th min saw Rajbir Singh Jsy No.9 shot home second goal of the game to seal the match for JCT. UPFC’s Harvinder Singh was also cautioned for his unsporting behaviour.
Another match of the day, which was held between BSF and PSPCL was also a well contested match between two which ended in One all draw. BSF was having upper hand of the visitors and dominated the proceeds. PSPCL surged ahead against the run of play when Gurpreet scoring 65th min whereas N.Henery equalize the game in 71st min. Pawan Kumar Tiwari missed couple of scoring opportunities those came BSF otherwise it was the match for clear cut win for BSF. Gurpreet Singh PSPCL keeper came up with super fine saves of the day and helped his team earning one valuable point.
