Following the AIFF Grassroots Philosophy and Development Plans, and in order to chalk-out yearly and three years’ work plan, Punjab Football Association hold a meeting today the 21st February, 2015 at JCT Sports Complex, Chohal (Hoshiarpur) wherein about 36 persons consists of Grassroots Leaders, Members and Representatives from Grassroots Centers already working in Punjab State were present. Ms.Anju Turambekar, AIFF Grassroots Instructor has also attended this meeting in order to understand the basic structures, working of centers and challenges of GR Football Coaches in Punjab. She has took sessions with PFA Officials Mr.Deepak Kumar and Mr.Vijay Bali, who were keen to adopt AIFF GR Development Plan in Punjab State, so as the working of all GR centers in Punjab be also in line with AIFF GR Plan. While taking up sessions with PFA members and GR Leaders, Ms.Anju Turambekar also unveil about Grassroots Football, its philosophy, main objectives and benefits of Grassroots football in the State. After this meeting is over, the Grassroots Leaders those have already undergone Grassroots Coaching Course held at JCT Complex, Phagwara from 27th to 29th December, 2014 were also facilitated with participation certificate. In second phase of her this visit to Punjab, Ms.Anju Turambekar, has also visited JCT Sports Complex, Chohal, Football Centers in Mahilpur, Doaba Grassroots Centre, Khera, Grassroots Centre at Phagwara, YFC Grassroots Academy, Rurka Kalan and YFKC Academy, Dhesian Kahna.
